A cushion made from a rare late 18th century French linen toile called the The Four Continents designed by Jean-Baptiste Huet. The central panel is charming depicting a naughty boy dangling a lobster in front of a bemused if somewhat cross looking lion - this is framed with a French linen check of the same period then bordered with plain antique French linen - the same plain linen on reverse - zipped at bottom - includes custom made feather pad - complimentary UK postage. Historic textiles are conserved where necessary and this item is for light use only due to the age of the central textile.
